Using the Quarrantine as a Reset Button
At the church we are using this time period to do needed work on the church building.
The most imporant thing we have done is to have a new Air Conditioner unit installed which cools Fellowship Hall. It feels so good to be in that part of the building again.
About 6 weeks ago James Bolgiano found a break in the water pipe to one of the toilets in the Women's bathroom. We contacted our insurance company and repairs began immediately. The last of the repairs is taking place next Tuesday.
We laid a soaker hose around the newest part of the building to reduce any possibilities of foundation damage. Thanks so much to Joe and Bev Collins for working on this project.
The next item we are looking at is any equipment needed for streaming the service year round. Ellen has been researching what it would take and the main piece is a good camera with a good computer program.
We are also looking at the lighting in the sanctuary and Fellowship Hall.
My thanks to Joe Collins who is now our volunteer building maintenance person. Also thanks so much to James Bolgiano who keeps our building in tip top shape and takes care of wasp nests, ant beds, etc.
Also thanks to Bev Collins for helping me in the office. She comes in every Thursday to help me with office work. She and her husband Joe donated a new computer for our church office.
It will be at least July before the church opens up in a formal way for Sunday morning services. There is a lot involved in opening up the church right now with all the requirements for spacing and cleaning. We will keep you posted. Once we open up to services in the physical location we will also be live streaming the service.
Fellowship Hall
Those who would like to come to the church are welcome to come to Fellowship Hall and space out. We have had several couples coming who don’t get good reception where they live plus they enjoy seeing other people. The new air conditioner keeps Fellowship Hall cool.
